Catalogue Photography Services: Pricing and Q&A

RATES:

(For single items on a white background, rates may not apply to polished metal, crystal and glass or highly reflective products. Please call to confirm rates.)

Product Photography (about 5-7 business days)

This is an easy formula to determine your product photography costs. Multiply the number of shots (products) times $20.00 and then add our base set up rate of $65.00. So for example, if you need 20 products shot X $20.00 per shot = $400.00 plus base set up rate of $ 65.00 ... then your total cost would be $465.00.

Q. How do I get started? HOW DOES IT WORK:

1) Call us up!

We'll discuss your product line, how the images will be used and make recommendations for photo styles. Then we'll determine the actual cost of your project and Email you a quote for your review.

2) Send your products

After we discuss your project and you have accepted our quote, send us your deposit and the products. A 25% deposit is required at this stage. Securely pack your products and send them insured, if necessary. Shipping to and return shipping from our studio is your responsibility.

Include a "shot list" including item numbers and any specific information pertaining to positioning, assembly of the products, groupings and props.

3) We photograph and edit your products. When your products arrive we'll give you a call to let you know that everything arrived safely, and also to review the project. We handle your products with the utmost care, this is as important to us as providing high-quality images.

1st Proof Approval

To ensure you will be satisfied with your product imagery, D'Angelo Photography will email proofs for your review. You can simply return an E-Mail with the order number and "approved" in the body copy. Upon approval of the proofs, we will begin the final digital processing. The balance of your order is due at this time.

Retouching services:

We always recommend you sending us the BEST sample you can find. Our photography is such high resolution that even small defects will show up. For web use this is not as important and it is when the images are to be used in brochures or trade show display or where the reproduced size and quality is significantly higher than on your website. Since we are delivering high resolution, full sized images, however, these high quality images may show unwanted details that would normally not show up in an on-line application. We do minor digital retouching of all images as part of the basic service and offer extensive retouching, enhancements and image manipulations on an as needed basis. Our in house photo retouching and image enhancements can include removing blemishes, erasing tool marks, removing shadows, dropping out backgrounds, creating clipping paths, increasing contrast, adding backgrounds, adding special effects, adjusting and correcting color, creating composites, restoring old photos and restoring damaged photos. Retouching can be discussed prior to the photography and after your products arrive. You will not be billed for ANY service unless it is approved and discussed in advance.

4) Final Approval of images

After we've finished your images we'll make them available in an online gallery for you to review. Upon your final approval of the images we will complete the project and deliver your images to you on an archived CD or DVD.

5) Payment

We accept payments by check and Pay-Pal. Please make checks payable to D'Angelo Photography. All projects require a 25% deposit to begin work. Please note that we must receive payment in full before we can deliver your final images, however, you will get the opportunity to view your proofs online before making final payment.

6) Delivery

Initial and finished images will be available for you to view online. At the completion of your project you will receive all images on a CD or DVD. We also archive all your images, just in case! After you have received your images we can return your original products. You will be responsible for this cost and we can discuss the options during our initial conversations.

Q. How long will it take to receive my photos?

Production time for most projects is about one week from the point which we receive your products. When scheduling your project we can give you an exact delivery date and also work with you on whatever deadlines you may have.
